Hey naturals,

This past Memorial Day weekend was a great weekend. I hung out at the beach and had a great time with my friends and family. I barely touched my hair this weekend I just let it do whatever it wanted to do and because of that I had soooooo many knots and tangles (UGH!). I decided to give my hair some TLC; I deep conditioned the whole day yesterday then washed and blow dried it on medium cool heat. Because of the abuse my hair took this weekend I decided to braid it up for a few days. Here are the results:

Natural Newness

After 3yrs of growing my hair out I've decided to change it up a bit. I cut my hair about 3 weeks ago (Yes I CUT MY HAIR!). I know a lot of people would not even think about cutting their hair but it was time for a change. I love natural hair but the longer it gets the more work I have to do and the more I get bored with twist outs. 

I'm not going to lie and say I was not afraid to cut my hair. I get scared when I have to trim my hair let alone cutting it. But I mustered up the courage to do it and once it was done I was HAPPY I made that decision. 

I went to a professional to get my hair cut and colored. If you are looking to get your hair colored I would suggest going to someone who knows what they are doing to avoid damaging your hair.

Ebene Twistout

Hey ladies, 

I recently took down my city twists and decided to do a twist out using my Ebene butter. This is my second time using the product and I really like the results I get. My hair is moisturized and very soft. I used it along with my Hello Hydration conditioner and the results are awesome.
